KayakPro Speedstroke French Indoor Kayak Championships-
On the back of the massively successful UK Indoor Champs, we have just returned from organizing and running the French Indoor Kayak Championships in Tours, Southern France.

The visuality of this regatta was just amazing – more of a show-biz, -rock-show-light and music extravaganza… Bon Jovi style-y meets Guns and Roses-with Speedstrokes at dawn.

The one-day event was a constant non-stop round of 200m and 500m events- heats and finals- simply terrific to see the enthusiasm of the athletes.
Our new false start system seemed to eliminate, apart from one tension-filled final the incidence of false starts.

It was a great learning process to run this event – a second language not even a prerequisite! 
