I was debating between getting the KayakPro SwimFast Erg or another company's ski erg. I decided to go with the swim erg — I have ZERO regrets! This machine is amazing! If you are on the fence about buying this machine and wondering how close it emulates actual swimming, you will not regret this purchase and it is as close to swimming on land as you can get.

SwimFast all the way! I was going to order a Vasa but ended up getting a KayakPro SwimFast — I'm really glad of that choice! Comparing the details and performance, the KayakPro is way better. Also, they were a pleasure to deal with. Oh, and the KayakPro looks a lot more Pro!

I love to swim but fall into the enthusiastic amateur category. I've purchased a SwimFast machine as an alternative to my endless pool over winter. It is great — a really excellent alternative to my daily swim. With the Halo attachment and the fantastically smooth overall mechanism, I can see it very much supports my technique build and training.

It works as good as all of the reviews say — it really is a fantastic piece of equipment and extremely efficient in simulating the entire swim stroke on dry land. My daughter has been selected in the Australian Para Olympic Development Squad for the upcoming Los Angeles Olympics in 2028 leading up to the Brisbane 2032 Para Olympic Games.

We love SwimFast — it is Mega. We see triathlon as a strength endurance sport. This piece of kit ticks all the boxes for swim-specific strength, stimulating the right muscle groups. My SwimFast erg is now in regular use — 3 erg sessions a week to supplement my pool training. The machine is obviously built to last, and the feel of the flywheel resistance is incredibly smooth and realistic. I am racing in Ironman Arizona, and the erg has quickly become an important part of my triathlon training.
